I purchased a skagen watch for my husband, dont normally buy items like this on line but wasn't disappointed!! The watch was as described , looked lovely, and my husband loves it.

The watch itself was lovely, however, the winder was stiff and the watch lost roughly 8 Mins in the Hr before it stopped altogether during the first night that I had it. I am currently awaiting a replacement watch to be sent to me.

Im very pleased with this watch. Its a nice design, a clean, classic look which is also a little bit different due to the date dials.\r\n\r\nThe watch overall feels thin and light compared to my old accurist chronograph, and feels very comfortable. The strap was easy to adjust to the right length, you just need something like a small screwdriver to lever up the catch. I didnt need the instructions but I am an engineer! The mesh initially felt like it was catching the hairs on my wrist, but that feeling went after a few minutes one I got the strap correctly adjusted.\r\n\r\nThe dial is on the large side for my smallish wrists, but not overly so. The hands and hour marks have small glow-in-the-dark insets that make it easy to read in low light. It looks very smart, and equally suitable for casual as well as a smarter look.

This is the second skagen watch I have bought Had a black sporty version watch before but this new one as my TAG had gone in for repair And wanted a watch that looked good for a night out this certainly doesn’t disappoint very classy looking you can hardly tell you’ve got it on it is so light brilliant watch

Difficult to tell from pictures, but very happy with watch when unboxed, nice, stylish but at the same time subtle. Also found instructions for setting and strap adjustment simple to follow, will use again without doubt.

Watch is excellent lovely style and colour, the only slight problem is the length of the strap if you have a large wrist, I found with this watch that I had to put the clip right on the edge of the strap so it’s fully extended, unlike my previous Skagen watches where the strap was slightly longer.

Purchased this gift for my significant other. I was very pleased with the delivery time - exactly as they promised -, and also with the packaging. Bear in mind, however, that if you opt for the Gift packaging, you should not ask for the delivery to be made directly to the person you are sending the gift to, because the nicely packed box comes inside a carton box, which also contains the invoice you wouldnt want your friend to see the price of a gift, would you? : . This is by no means a complaint - surely you would need the invoice to be sent to you, in case there is any need for returning the product - but it is good to keep this in mind. As for the Gift packaging, they offer you the possibility of adding a nice message to it, although it comes on a printed piece of paper which is then glued on a normal gift-bag-kind-of-tag. This is not particularly the most visually pleasant gift tag, but oh well - its nice to add a message anyway.

I should also mention that if you happen to order from another country, using a UK credit card, you will miserably fail. It is not a matter of the bank - called them and they couldnt even see the 20-something attempts to purchase that I made - but its just Watchshop policy. This was indeed very annoying, and they couldnt help me in any way with that talked to Watchshop staff on the phone twice, and they were nice but couldnt help with that. So I had to wait until I returnes to the UK in order to be able to finish the purchase. That was a downside.


Now for the product itself, I am very pleased with the looks, the feel and the performance of the watch. It arrived in perfect condition, in the original Skagen box, together with instructions of how to do the setup although unfortunately Skagen only provides a very general set of instructions, which suits all watches, so you wont have the exact specifications of your watch inside the box: the thickness of the case, the size of the screen, whether the hour and minute hands are visible during night time - they are!- etc.. The product is very nicely built, the mesh bracelet is super super fancy my boyfriend loved it, and the color of the watch is very elegant and looks different in certain lights -sometimes looks charcoal, sometimes black, the display may even come across as brown-ish. Also, the rose gold accents compliment the watch so well! For those who care about this, the watch ticking is NOT as noisy as others - and this is indeed a very big thumbs up for those people like my boyfriend who hate to hear the ticking sound during night time, even if the watch is placed on a table a couple of meters away! This is not the case with this watch, whose ticking sound is really... silent-ish? Good job with that! :

Some customers say that it is difficult to set the time and day - it is not that hard. The pin on the side has 3 levels of opening, one for the hour, one for the day of the week and one for the day of the month. Its really just a matter of how courageous you are when it comes to pulling hard on that side pin : Just do it!!!

Maybe the only - very insignificant! - inconvenience was that is was rather difficult to modify the size of the bracelet: you need force to open and close that mechanism - but oh well, you only do it once anyway, and then you can fully enjoy this beautiful piece of art this watch is!!

All in all, I recommend both this product and Watchshop service!

I checked out a few of the range of Skagen. It was always going to be a Skagen that I chose. This model is stylish and I like the colour combination. I found adjustment of the date and day a little bit fiddly but its the same as any other watch in that regard. I ordered the watch on Friday afternoon and it was delivered to my door Saturday morning! Great service
