Arrived next day...this is my second purchase of this watch the first purchased as a Xmas gift for my Mum. She was delighted with hers..no more need for batteries! Perfect little watch. very plain and simple which is just what i was looking for. Works perfectly and runs on light as stated. After purchasing a different citizen eco drive watch possibly an older model which did not work and no matter how much light exposure was given watch would not start working was cautious about trying another however was not disappointed at all, was working perfectly as soon as i opened the box. Quick delivery even around the Christmas period from the Watch shop.Strap is a lovely fit with plenty of room and very comfortable for everyday wear. Hoping this watch will last me many years! Excellent price as always on the watch not my first order from here and certainly wont be my last!

Simple, plain and stylish watch. The strap is rather hard, but thats expected at the beginning, lets hope it softens up.

Ladies Citizen Eco-Drive Watch EW1270-06A, purchased for my 87 year old mother, still has her wits about her needed a easy to read watch with little fuss.
Brilliant watch clear easy to read dial, and it does not need the battery changing. Absolutely suitable for a get up and go 87 year old lady.

Only negative is stiffness of strap

Well what can I say! 1st time I have used Watch Shop & certainly wont be the last. They had just what I was looking for in stock & at the right price! Being a male wrapping my presents can be a bit of a nightmare & thankfully I had the option of not only the watch being gift wrapped but also what I would like written on the card! Really clear face with easy-to-see numbers and hands. Like the second hand - useful occasionally for timing things! Not sure about the date window. Rather small - doesnt really do anything for the watch in my opinion. Smart black leather strap - although I quite like an expandable bracelet, I can see the sense of an easily-adjustable strap. Blissful knowing that its solar powered - no more trying to find batteries on my way to meetings or at weekends! Instructions for setting time and date are clear and concise.

Good clear dial - excellent for anyone with reduced vision. The seconds hand is a good feature, but the date indicator is probably ambitious for a ladies watch. Very good value, and I would recommend this watch.

An understated yet stylish watch.
Registering the warranty with Citizen was very difficult as it is necessary to read, and submit, miniscule identifying numbers / letters etched onto the case - it would be far easier if these were recorded in normal size print on the packaging as well

Bought this as a surprise for my partner - I already have an eco-drive and love it.
The Ladies watch is very chic - not glitzy but has a good size face and digits. She wears it both casually and also smart and loves it.

I bought this watch as a gift for my wife on a big birthday - one of those with a zero at the end. I chose it as I felt her lifestyle - which includes horse riding and skiing, warranted a no-nonsense model which was easily visible and would not need new batteries every couple of years. There are many mens sports models but I didnt find any for ladies, but this seemed a worthwhile choice, and she really likes it!

An excellent, simple ladies watch. The design is understated and the watch itself is pretty subtle. Nicely finished without being overdone.

The solar power feature should mean that a new battery will never be required.

Watch is great . Only downside is strap is a little short . Would help if they put strap length on advert when buying a leather or none adjustable strap .

This is a smart classy little watch. The face is clear to read. It fits well on my small wrist and is ideal for ladies wanting a clear watch without a huge face. It has a good quality leather strap. My only little gripe is the date is not easy to read, the number is a little feint. I bought this Eco-Drive watch for the wife as it is easy to read when she is driving. I have owned a Citizen Eco-Drive before and it is still going strong after many years, the wife says she prefers the leather strap!

A very neat looking watch with a smart black leather strap and white face with clear, easy to read numbers from one to twelve. The date display is rather small and there are no minute marks but that is not really a problem. the real bonus is that it will never need a new battery and so far, it has kept time very well under artificial light.

Yesterday, digging out our compost heap, my husband spotted my stainless steel Citizen Eco-Drive watch, which hed bought for my birthday Seotember 2009. I was sad and cross when I lost it some 18 months later. The watch was coated with grot, one strap partly composted away. As I rinsed it in warm water we were astonished to see the second hand begin to move. But the watch is described as only water resistant! Writing this 24 hours later its keeping perfect time after being buried for two years. The stainless steel in unblemished, and Im off to buy my splendid watch a new strap.

A very neat and clear watch with no battery hassles. Comfortable to wear and has a standard leather strap which will be easy to replace when it wears out. My improvement would be if it didn't have a date display as it is almost invisible unless you have bionic vision but still needs adjusting after every non-31 day month in case you decide to squint away to find what it says.
